A week of Thanks
Day #2 -My Children
I am so Thankful that I have been given beautiful, smart, well-behaved children. I know every parent says that, but I have had more people stop me in malls, restaurants, games, etc. to tell me that I have some of the best behaved children they have ever been around.
I have to agree.
Each one provides me a daily blessing. I am going to take this opportunity to thank each one of them.
Elisa- You make me so proud with your empathy. You cry when you see me hurting. You meet me where ever I am and guide me back to where I need to be. You have an incredible sense of humor and always make us laugh when we are hurting the most. Your art takes me to the place in your head where you like to hang out, and I find a strong, well-adjusted personality. I love having you in my life.
Ambriel- You keep my home working when I am not here. You are the little momma to the kids, and you are always watching out for them and protecting them when I am not here. Your smile brings tears to my eyes because it fills your whole face and chases away the hurt. I depend so much on you. You are a living testament of God’s Miracles.
Caleb- I love watching you become the man you will someday be. Your touches are so soft and gentle. You are so intelligent and smart. I love the way you think so logically. I love that you have your mother’s stubborn streak and are not so easily swayed. I love watching you play sports. Your laugh is infectious. I am so glad that God gave me my boy, and he gave me the best.

You are very blessed!
we really have three great kids
and i can’t take any credit for their good behavior. in fact it’s usually me who leads them down the darker paths of pranks and mischief-making.
Wow and I got that in writing. Nice!
