Ambriel Update
God is AMAZING!!
We are back from the Oncologists. There are no changes in her tumors.
Everything looks great and now she doesn’t have to go back until October!!!!
She will get a Lung CT and Pelvis CT when she goes back. Dr. also said that the next CT’s should be done without contrast because he is only looking at bone. She is so happy she doesn’t have to drink the chalky white goo for that CT scan.
After her next appointment she will be seen once a year.
On another side note, the endoscopy came back clear with no signs of any disease, infections, or anything that may be causing her nausea. The blood work all came back clear with no sign of food allergies or anything wierd. The yucky tests came back with no sign of blood or any parasites.
Her nausea remains the mystery of the year. We meet with the GI on May 8 to discuss where we go from here with the nausea. I am going to ask if it is possible she is nauseous because her center of gravity changed with the pelvic bone being removed…. like a vertigo thing. Just a passing thought I had.
I want to thank all of you for your commitment to pray for us, send us your support as we go to these appointments, and your positive wishes. I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Hi there, just dropping by to say Hello,
I found your blog from the Big Bang Master List.
Have a nice day.
Great news, now Tina just stop cooking for her and she wont get nausea lol! Take care guys
I am so glad to hear such good news!!! I hope they figure out a way to treat her nausea now that they’ve eliminated all of the nasty possibilities.
“Yay” for good news and “dang it” for no answer to the mystery. On that same line of thinking that you had, could it be a inner ear issue? Hmmm…
Take care guys.
Wow. .that is GRRRRRREAT!!!!
Woohooooooooo!!!! That is wonderful news.
Great to hear That~
amen…
I have a question-you may not want to answer in public, in which case you can reply to my email. I would send you an email to ask this question- but I can’t seem to find it on your blog, so I am using this public posting…
Has Ambriel ever had treatment in san francisco at UCSF through their orthopedic oncology department? That is where my wife gets treatment (she has chondroblast sarcoma for 15+ years) is and I know people come from all over the world to UCSF and that many of the patients are young girls-my wife was one of these young girls, she has been a patient for more than 15 years now.
The reason i ask is because I know my wife has met with and talked with other sarcoma patients (because of her personal experience combined with her own medical degree, she makes for a good person to talk with new and young patients sometimes, and has done so in the past) and in a youtube video of Ambriel attempting to walk/use a cane after one of her surgeries there is a young women standing by her side with a visitor pass around her kneck- who looks exactly like my wife, down to the way she stands, moves, wears her hair, and even her clothing. It could simply be a combination of a grainy youtube video and my eyes wanting to see something that might not really be there- but it is a remarkable resemblance- so I was curious as to whether Ambriel has ever received treatment in san francisco?
The more I think about it, the more I doubt Ambriel would need to come to SF-since it looks like you are in the midwest from your videos and pictures, and there are well regarded cancer treatment centers near you-but I still wonder because her doctor at UCSF invented a device that is especially useful for younger and more athletic types.
Whatever the case may be, I certainly wish you, Ambriel and your family and all the best- as I am sure you are aware by now, this cancer can be a long and unexpected journey that can test every relationship and everything we have faith or trust in-your daughter looks very strong and amazingly well adjusted and you should feel very proud of her-she radiates strength and courage.
Best wishes-
BQ
